EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bsc, Political Science and Public Administration, Middle East Technical University in Ankara, Turkey. Specialized in International Law and Government. Thesis on the Armenian-Turkish relations, Iraq-Iran war, and role of the United Nations.
  • Awarded the Honorary Degree: "Doctorate of Humane Letters" by Mashdots College
  • Co-Chair of the International Service Division of Rotary Club of New York (Host club of America and the United Nations) 1998 -present www.nyrotary.org and former member of Rotary Club of İstanbul (1991-1998) www.istanbulrotary.org and one of the founding members of the first Rotaract Club in Turkey in 1982 (Ankara Cankaya Rotaract Club)
  • Co-Founder and Co-Chairman of the Turkish-Armenian Business Development Council(TABDC) in 1997 and Co-Chairman and Co-Founder of the US-Turkish-Armenian Business Council and the Turkish-Armenian Business Council in European Union in Brussels.
  • Presently working on Religious Minorities and inter-faith relations among different religious and institutions and promoting US-Turkish-Kurdish economic relations and facilitating relations between Armenia and Turkey. WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Rock and Jazz Producer, Turkish Ankara Guide, Turkish Police Radio Station and Turkeys Government owned Radio and TV (TRT). Sponsored several Jazz albums with guest musicians from Russia, Armenia, Turkey and USA.
  • Export manager of the Arkas Shipping of Istanbul and represented East German State Fleet, Italian State Fleet in Turkey.
  • Arranged the first Chrome ore exports worldwide fromTurkey and established the transportation system for Chrome ore trading.
  • One of the first non-Soviet businessmen in Russia just before the collapse of the Soviet Union and established the first Joint-Venture between Russian Federation and Turkey.
  • Represented government owned Russian Shipping Register System in Turkey and Mediterranean to approve all types of ship repair and ship building on behalf of The Russian Government.
  • Co-Founder of the Repair-Operate-Transfer system in ship repair industry. Repaired The Ukrainian State Fleet in Turkey and then operated between US and Black Sea to transport humanitarian aid cargoes from United States to Central Asia and Caucasus.
  • Initiated and arranged the first safe transportation system for the US Government sponsored humanitarian aid cargoes from U.S. to Russia and Central Asia and Caucasus.
  • Introduced insurance system and off-shore management to the Russian ship owners and Russian Business Communities after the collapse of the Soviet Union.
  • Facilitated the political relations between Russia and Turkey and established the first Public Diplomacy Projects between two countries during the 1990s.
  • Established 5 Turkish-Russian ship owning and ship management Joint-Ventures in Turkey,
  • Co-Founder and Co-Chairman of Alyans Transportation and Logistics in Turkey, which exclusively transports all items of the Turkish Army, Turkish Petroleum, and Turkish State Railways internationally.
  • Co-Founder and President and CEO of Trusa Consulting Services in USA which exclusively represents several US based security firms on biometrics, pipeline security, tracking, secure data transferring, secure surveillance systems, in the Middle East , North Africa and Turkey and the Caucasus.
  • Provides political consultancy to public and private enterprises.
  • Co-Founder of the build-operate-transfer concept for the pipeline security projects and implemented the first pilot project in the Middle East.
  • Presently developing Cyber Security projects for all infrastructure, water and energy projects.
  • Advisor to the General Manager of the General Directorate of Agricultural Enterprises of Turkey.
  • Advisor to The President of the Eastern Mediterranean University of Famagusta, Cyprus. Played a leading role in getting charter certificates for the two Rotary Clubs in Cyprus after they waited for 25 years.
  • Advisor to the Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Turkey for international relations. Attended many international conferences regarding Russia , Caucasus, Cyprus , Armenia , Turkey , Iraq and USA as a speaker.
